Collaborations with other artists has been a key component of Sandy Elverd's practise. From her work with six other artists on Weaving the River, a major project concerning the Murray River in 2001-2002, with Tjanpi Desert Weavers for WOMAD music Festival 2007 and 2002 Adelaide Festival Arts in to her most recent work with Adelaide-based artist Sue Kneebone.
